EPL Weekend Wrap-Up: Dominant Wins and Nail-Biting Finishes

The Premier League delivered another exhilarating weekend of soccer, packed with thrilling performances and game-changing moments. Let’s dive into the major results that shaped the weekend and left fans on the edge of their seats.

Tottenham Thrashes West Ham 4-1

Tottenham put on a clinical display against West Ham, cruising to a dominant 4-1 victory. Despite an early goal from Mohammed Kudus in the 18th minute for West Ham, Spurs didn’t take long to respond. Dejan Kulusevski equalised in the 36th minute, and from then on, it was all Tottenham.

Bissouma’s strike followed by an own goal from Alphonse Areola pushed the game further out of West Ham’s reach. Son Heung-min wrapped it up with a clinical finish in the 60th minute, sealing the win for Tottenham, who continue to look strong this season.

Man United Sneaks Past Brentford 2-1

Manchester United had to fight hard for their 2-1 win against Brentford. Brentford drew first blood just before halftime with Ethan Pinnock’s goal in added time, but the Red Devils came back with a determined second-half performance.

Alejandro Garnacho brought United level just two minutes into the second half, and Rasmus Højlund’s strike in the 62nd minute secured the crucial win for Manchester United as they climb the table in pursuit of a top-four finish.

Liverpool Beats Chelsea 2-1 in Tight Contest

Liverpool emerged victorious in a closely fought 2-1 battle against Chelsea. Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with a penalty in the 29th minute, but Nicolas Jackson equalised for Chelsea just after halftime.

However, Liverpool’s Curtis Jones secured the win for the Reds with a 51st-minute goal. Despite Chelsea’s best efforts to claw back into the game, Liverpool’s defence held firm, giving them all three points in what was an exciting match.
